Terms of service
1) Eligibility
You must be 20 years of age or older to book and participate unless stated otherwise in writing.
By booking, you confirm you are able to participate in the itinerary and activities, which may include walking and light to moderate physical activity.
2) What’s Included / Not Included
Each trip page or invoice will state what is included. Unless explicitly stated, trip prices generally do not include:
Airfare to/from the destination
Travel insurance (required — see Section 8)
Passports, visas, vaccinations, entry requirements
Personal expenses (shopping, minibar, laundry, etc.)
Optional excursions not listed as included
Meals/drinks not listed as included
Tips/gratuities
3) Pricing & Availability
Prices are shown on our website or invoice at the time of booking and are subject to change until your booking is confirmed.
Prices are typically per person and may assume shared accommodation unless a single supplement is offered and purchased.
If a pricing or listing error occurs, we reserve the right to correct it and notify you before confirmation.
4) Deposits, Payment Plans & Final Payment
A deposit of $550 is required to reserve your spot. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable unless we state otherwise in writing for a specific trip.
If a payment plan is offered, you agree to make payments by the due dates provided. If a payment is missed or late, we may cancel your reservation and apply the refund rules in Section 6.
Final payment must be received by the deadline on your invoice/booking confirmation. If final payment is not received by the due date, we may cancel your booking and apply the refund rules in Section 6.
Payment methods: We may accept payment by [credit card / e-transfer / invoice / other]. Processing or transaction fees (if any) are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
5) Trip Confirmation & Minimum Group Size
Trips may require a minimum number of confirmed travelers to operate. If the minimum is not met, we may cancel or postpone the trip (see Section 6.2). We will communicate confirmation timelines and next steps by email.
6) Cancellations, Changes & Refunds (Strict Policy)
6.1 Changes by Eunoia Escape
We may make reasonable changes to the itinerary, accommodations, inclusions, timing, or activities due to weather, safety concerns, local conditions, vendor availability, operational needs, or circumstances outside our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide a comparable experience.
6.2 Trip Cancellation or Postponement by Eunoia Escape
We may cancel or postpone a trip for reasons including (but not limited to) insufficient registrations, safety concerns, major disruptions, or circumstances beyond our control.
If we cancel a trip, we will refund the amounts you paid to Eunoia Escape excluding non-refundable deposit of $550 and any non-refundable processing/transaction fees, unless otherwise required by law.
We are not responsible for costs booked independently, including airfare, hotels outside the trip, travel documents, or other personal expenses.
If we postpone a trip, you may be offered:
Transfer of payments to the new dates, or
A refund excluding non-refundable deposits/fees (depending on vendor commitments)
6.3 Cancellation by You
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to: ciao@eunoiaescape.com.
Because Eunoia Escape makes vendor commitments and prepurchases services, the following applies unless otherwise stated on a specific trip page:
Deposit ($550): Non-refundable at all times.
60 days or less before departure: No full refunds. Payments are generally non-refundable within this window.
90-61 days before the trip: 70% of the trip cost excluding the deposit.
More than 90 days before departure: Full refund excluding the deposit
Important: Refunds (if any) are processed back to the original payment method where possible.
6.4 Missed Payments / Non-Payment
If you miss a payment or do not complete final payment by the due date, we may cancel your booking. Any refund (if applicable) will follow Section 6.3.
7) No Refunds for Missed Portions / Late Arrival
If you arrive late, leave early, miss activities, or choose not to participate in any portion of the trip, no refunds will be issued for missed services or experiences.
8) Travel Insurance (Required)
Travel insurance is mandatory for all Eunoia Escape trips.
By booking a trip with Eunoia Escape, you acknowledge and agree that you are required to purchase and maintain valid travel insurance that provides appropriate coverage for your needs. At a minimum, your travel insurance must include coverage for:
Trip cancellation and interruption
Medical emergencies and illness
Medical evacuation and repatriation
Accidents and injuries
Flight delays, cancellations, and missed connections
Lost, delayed, or stolen baggage
Travel insurance must be valid for the entire duration of the trip, including travel days.
Failure to obtain adequate travel insurance is done at your own risk, and Eunoia Escape will not be responsible for any losses, expenses, or damages incurred as a result.
Proof of travel insurance may be required prior to departure. Failure to provide proof upon request may result in denial of participation in the trip without refund.
9) Health, Safety & Medical Responsibility
By booking, you confirm you are in suitable physical and mental health to participate and you accept responsibility for your own wellbeing during the trip.
You understand:
Trips may involve walking, uneven terrain, heat, water activities, and other typical travel conditions.
Medical facilities may be limited in certain areas.
Any medical expenses, evacuation costs, or related expenses are your responsibility.
We may refuse participation or remove a traveler (without refund) if a traveler’s behavior or condition creates a risk to themselves or others (see Section 12).
10) Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability
Travel and group activities involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, property loss, delays, accidents, and unforeseen events.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that Eunoia Escape is not liable for losses, damages, injuries, claims, or expenses arising from:
Your participation in the trip
Acts or omissions of third-party vendors (hotels, transport providers, excursion operators, etc.)
Events beyond our reasonable control (see Force Majeure)
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law.
11) Third-Party Vendors (Travel Arrangements)
Eunoia Escape may work with third-party vendors to deliver parts of the trip (accommodations, transportation, excursions, guides, local partners). These vendors are independent and have their own policies and terms.
Eunoia Escape is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or policies of third-party vendors.
12) Behavior, Group Respect & Removal Policy
Eunoia Escape is built on safety, respect, and good energy. We may refuse participation or remove a traveler (without refund) if they engage in behavior that is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, or negatively impacts the group’s experience.
Any costs incurred due to removal (accommodation, transportation, rebooking flights, etc.) are the traveler’s responsibility.
13) Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements
You are responsible for obtaining:
A valid passport
Any required visas
Any required entry documents/vaccinations
If you are denied entry or removed from a country for any reason, Eunoia Escape is not responsible for resulting costs or losses.
14) Photography & Content
During trips, photos and videos may be taken for marketing and community purposes. By participating, you grant Eunoia Escape permission to use images/video where you may appear, unless you notify us in writing before the trip that you do not consent.
15) Force Majeure (Events Outside Our Control)
Eunoia Escape is not responsible for delays, changes, cancellations, or losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government actions, civil unrest, strikes, transportation disruptions, war, terrorism, or vendor closures.
16) Privacy
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By booking, you agree that we may share necessary information with vendors to deliver travel services.
17) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most current version will be posted on our website with the updated date. The Terms in effect at the time of your booking will apply to that booking unless required otherwise by law.
